A .NET WPF application is conceptually designed and implemented to support the creation, linking and printing specification documents in an agile software development environment, combined with a Team Foundation Server (TFS) and SharePoint. This shortens the specification process and concentrates more fully on essentials.
Supplement
The application can be used to execute filter-based queries of a TFS. The results of this query (work items) can be used to create generic sections of specification documents with Word templates, and these can be stored at a defined storage point in SharePoint. These can, in turn, be linked automatically to the TFS work items. The function is rounded out by the option of displaying and printing these linked Word documents, the option of saving settings for each installation, and network-based deployment.
