The PTA develops an individual DWH control web application for the customer, which supports him to easily configure, start and monitor ETL processes for the DWH data imports in a simple way. Another functionality is the inspection and maintenance of process-relevant master data for the transformation of data. For this purpose, PTA is developing a SpringBoot front-end application in a Java environment, which the customer can execute on the company's intranet using an Internet browser.
Supplement
The web application runs under Java13. It is a spring boot application with an angular front end and a maven back end with access to an MS SQL Server database managed by the PTA. Using Adobe XD, the PTA created a GUI mockup in advance to coordinate the requirements with the customer. Based on this concept, the technical development of the frontend and backend of the web application for the configuration of the ETL processes for data filling of the DWH takes place. For monitoring purposes, the user is shown information on current and historical ETL processes.
Subject description
The customer is periodically provided with data from various sources, which are transferred to the DWH. In order that this recurring work does not have to be configured and started directly via the SQL server, the customer's specialist users are provided with an individually designed interface. The management and monitoring of the DWH can be implemented with simple steps via the web application.
