Web application for the disposition of truck container transports
Brief description
For the administration, disposition and planning of trucks in the context of the hinterland terminals on the last mile and of direct trucks to the seaport, a web application is being developed in cooperation with a partner company. A sophisticated user interface including complex time stream display and a high availability of the application with low dependency on connected, external systems is particularly aimed at.
Supplement
The application consumes and produces events that are transmitted via the AMQP protocol to receive new transport orders and transmit real-time information about triggered disposition events to other separate systems and components. Continuous Delivery/Deployment provides fast, reliable and repeatable deployments in the customer's production environment. A JavaScript framework provides a dynamic and responsive web interface.
Subject description
The truck dispatcher is supported and accompanied in the best possible way in his scheduling decisions. The application checks the feasibility of tours and tour planning on the basis of the calculated journey time and – as far as possible – already provides suggestions for optimum scheduling. The managed vehicle fleet contains, for example, information on trucks and chassis or on the dangerous goods suitability of drivers and their driving and working times. Information on changes and urgent actions are presented to the dispatcher in a dynamic web interface in an understandable and concise manner.
