The client plans to set up a B2B shop for its business partners, which will reduce the existing telephone and e-mail communication. The aim of the web shop implementation is, among other things, to improve the data quality in the ordering process through the digitalised processes in the B2B shop and to reduce the manual activities of the sales staff. The preparation and implementation of the requirements workshops with the departments involved as well as the documentation of the results are the responsibility of PTA. For this purpose, PTA introduces the methods of 'event storming' and 'process modelling in BPMN 2.0' to the customer. These results are the basis for the selection of an implementation partner for the web shop.
Supplement
The requirements for the B2B webshop are developed in the form of workshops with representatives from the specialist departments of sales, logistics, accounting and controlling as well as IT. The workshops are organised as online sessions. The moderation and provision of the methodology are the responsibility of PTA. For this purpose, PTA introduces the method of 'eventstorming' to the customer in order to define the functionalities requested in the B2B webshop on a technical level. The collaboration tool 'Conceptboard' is used for eventstorming. The requirements are then detailed in process models, which are modelled by PTA in the tool 'Visual Paradigm' in the notation BPMN 2.0.
Subject description
The B2B shop is introduced as a new communication between the customer and his business partners in order to relieve the internal staff of time-consuming activities. This is necessary to manage the growth of the company with the existing or the possible increase in the number of employees.
