A usability workshop is conducted at the customer on site. Firstly, relevant theory is imparted. Afterwards, specific aspects are examined in greater depth and potential solutions had been developed. In addition a style-guide is created based on the results generated in the workshop.
Subject description
Within the usability workshop foundations of a user-centered design process are imparted with the aim to design interactive media. The content of the workshop covers the analysis of the users, their tasks and its context. Subsequently, simple prototypes are developed, which then had been peer-reviewed by representatives of the user group. Afterwards the process started anew with the first step; analysis of the users, their tasks and context, thereby incorporating the results from the first iteration. These process steps are repeated until a satisfactory solution is developed.
