Support of quality assurance in the purchase of commercial articles
Brief description
Several MS-Access/MS-Excel applications in the area of purchasing are continuously dynamised, optimised and expanded in accordance with department specifications. Analysis and coordinated implementation with several developers in the VBA development environment, including developer and function tests. Furthermore, direct support of the department for these applications is supported via a ticket system.

The technical requirements designed and prioritised by the customer are analysed, implemented, tested and documented in separate assignments in cooperation with the specialist department. In addition, the specialist departments report minor adjustments, problems and service requests via the ticket system, which are analyzed and implemented/remedied in a timely manner. Some of the supported applications take data from other Access databases that are directly integrated as external databases or from other systems that provide data via csv/xlsx. Some data is exported to other systems via csv/xlsx. From some applications Lotus Notes mails, Word documents and pdf files are created.
Subject description
Several different databases support the purchasing department in the quality assurance and development of own articles from the food and nearfood sector (master data maintenance, ingredient recording, evaluation of tasting, procurement and distribution of samples, reporting) as well as in quality assurance, traceability and sanctions for fruit and vegetables, in the creation of contracts with suppliers of branded products, in the logistics planning of food promotion articles, in quality assurance of non-food articles (various internal and external audits of the articles as well as the storage locations of the test samples are managed), for the monthly determination of German packaging quantities and charges and for the administration of individual weights / materials of various sales packaging and supplier master data.
