Support in the MDM tool selection
Brief description
There is a need to replace the previous MDM tool, which was developed over many years, with new software. PTA supports the customer in standardising and documenting the associated master data processes. This information is part of the requirements specification, which was created with the support of PTA and is used in MDM tool selection.
Supplement
When creating the tender specification, the old application is analyzed and existing data is summarized. The key master data process to be supported in the future is modeled as a BPMN diagram in Signavio and attached to the specification. PTA also researches the MDM market and compiled a list of companies offering MDM solutions, including those that best meet the technical and functional requirements relevant to the client. Through discussions with the client, the vendor longlist can be reduced to three companies (shortlist). Communication with these potential vendors, the organization of tool demos and the documentation of the most important information was also carried out by PTA.
