Support for migration and integration of local systems into a global sales force solution

Brief description
Support in the migration and integration of the sales and distribution system of a national company of a pharmaceutical group into the global sales force solution. Project planning, specification of interfaces, accompanying the development and implementation of tests on bidirectional interfaces between the CRM, SAP and other proprietary systems of the customer. Development of a component for externally generating complex customer hierarchies for reporting.

The global sales force solution will be developed further with the new requirement of new national companies. In parallel to the releases of the sales force solution, there will be several waves in each year in which one or more national companies will migrate to the new environment with their sales and distribution and/or service. The new requirements also call for additional interfaces to be generated on a basis for integration with the global and local systems. PTA provides support in this project for planning and design of the interfaces, handles the development and coordinates/documents the implementation of the test with representatives of the specialist department. A local MDM system will be linked for the first time in this project. The resulting solution will be used in the global system as a template for future MDM systems. For migration, the necessary data will be ascertained and prepared for importing. The go-live will be looked after and support provided for monitoring during the first weeks.
Subject description
Good integration for Germany into the CRM is of high importance, because this is the first time a local MDM system will be linked up. The specialist department has already been using an individual software package for many years which has undergone continuous further development. Equally, a country-specific system will be linked for shipping publicity articles. Reporting uses elaborately generated hierarchies on the basis of information entered by Sales and distribution. An independent component will be built for this.
