Support for implementation of SAP PP for production planning
Project duration: 2 years, 9 months
Brief description
The aim of the project is to introduce standard ERP software (SAP) at multiple locations, based on a global template that reflects customer-specific processes and functions. For the Mannheim production location, this means the replacement of the previous Baan V ERP system. Gaps analyzed during the gap and impact analysis are dealt with via change requests or changes to processes (business transformation). The Baan data is analyzed and formatted for the data migration in parallel. The change requests implemented during the implementation phase are tested and released in an application test. The implementation phase is completed with a user acceptance test during which predefined business cases are tested across different domains. Training documents are created in parallel for the end users. During the go-live phase, the data migrated from the previous systems and released after successful testing.
Supplement
The data migration is based on Excel templates that are filled using Qlikview. After the implementation phase, the functions are tested by key users in a user acceptance test. Key users create training documents (training documentation with the SAP Workforce Performance Builder ), and train the end users.
