Support for administrative applications in the power plant (2024)
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
Support and further development of a large number of existing IT applications for the administration of a power plant in the area of customised software development. The applications in the form of desktop/intranet front-ends, data transfer interfaces and (web) service applications support organisational and technical administrative processes. The primary customer benefit is the harmonisation/consolidation of the application landscape outside the SAP system and technical operations management as well as the use and provision of uniform, quality-assured data sources.
Supplement
In addition to customised solutions for departmental requirements, central applications, data storage and interfaces for the company's entire software landscape are further developed, maintained and monitored. Particular attention is paid to the processing, consolidation, consistency assurance and provision of company master data (personal/plant and telecommunications data). Existing technical solutions and systems are constantly checked for modernisation requirements as part of the existing IT strategy and revised or prepared for more extensive adjustments in consultation with the relevant functional and technical stakeholders. These activities are carried out as part of the company's ITIL implementation.
Subject description
The applications support the areas of dismantling planning, access management (central administration of IT IDs and user authorisations), IT application management, personal data management, security guard reports, on-call planning and management, first-aid book for plant paramedics, provision of material lists, logging of recurring inspections of technical components as well as the verification of persons involved and reporting to authorities. Various interfaces between the company's individual systems and core IT systems (SAP, technical asset management, telecommunications systems, Windows infrastructure) as well as central IT services are further developed, supported and automatically monitored. Frequently used technical functionalities are summarised as components and provided via a central development platform.
