Support and Development of a Salesforce Lightning CRM for the Insurance Brokerage Business

Brief description

A global insurance company has launched the application Makler360, built on Salesforce CRM and utilizing the modern Lightning interface. Following its implementation by PTA, the current focus is on maintaining operations and introducing additional key features. New functionalities ensure continuous improvement of the application to meet the company's evolving requirements. By leveraging Salesforce standard capabilities and no code/low code methods, changes and extensions are implemented faster and more cost effectively, while also facilitating easier maintenance and adaptation of the system to future needs. With PTA support and the use of modern technology, the company is well equipped to continue thriving in the market.

Supplement

A large portion of the data displayed in Salesforce originates from the client's legacy systems and is represented in Salesforce using objects, reports, and CRM Analytics dashboards. Data is automatically transferred to the Salesforce Cloud using the Salesforce Dataloader, where it is further processed. Feature development is conducted using SFDX in dedicated development environments, with Git used as the version control system. Most functionality is implemented with no-code and low-code methods, complemented by Apex and Lightning Web Components. A Single Sign-On (SSO) solution enables seamless and secure login. Testing and acceptance take place in designated environments that, along with the deployment and release process, ensure high product quality. The continuous integration and delivery process (CI/CD) enables quick and reliable deployment of new features and updates to production.

The Makler360 application provides users such as account managers, account support staff, and executives with a comprehensive 360-degree view of partners, along with process support in portfolio and relationship management. For account managers in the insurance industry, the application offers significant added value by enabling the maintenance of sales-relevant information and, through customized export functions, the preparation of data for sales meetings. Integration with Outlook allows users to manage emails and calendar events directly within Salesforce, enhancing efficiency and productivity. With the 360-degree view, all relevant information and interactions can be accessed in one place, enabling personalized and effective support. Overall, Broker360 optimizes the work of account managers through powerful tools and comprehensive data analytics that help improve sales performance and strengthen customer relationships.
