Statistical evaluation of the throughput of samples from a laboratory and the provision of these evaluation to an external web-based monitoring tool.
Supplement
The events of a laboratory middleware, stored in an Oracle database, are synchronized to a separate DB monitoring schema using Oracle scheduler. The statistical evaluation of the throughput takes place in PL/SQL functions. On part of the evaluation, options are configured via the Silverlight UI of the middleware and these are stored in Oracle tables in the DB monitoring schema. The other part of the configuration takes place in the external monitoring tool. The communication between monitoring schema as data producer and the external monitoring tool as data consumer takes place via an IIS service with JSON as data exchange format. The data is displayed on a dashboard with widgets on the monitor tool.
Subject description
The laboratory technician receives a realtime overview of the performance of the laboratory and the individual instruments via the statistical evaluation. Various evaluations are available, such as parameterized turnaround times of samples, individually configurable tracking of late samples, instrument status, timed sample throughput and indication of sample status.
