In the course of this project, software is developed to enable the customer to retrieve information about its performance key figures from its various data sources, and to create reports from this information. PTA is responsible for the entire project handling, from requirements definition through to deployment.
Supplement
The customer specifies external restrictions, such as using Java, deployment on Linux, the availability of test systems and restricted access to live systems. The result expected is a server-based web application that uses an ETL process in existing third-party systems such as GLPI, PRTG and OTRS, and that also permits user interactions via a web interface. On the basis of connections to MySQL-based systems, a MySQL database is also used for the data storage.
Subject description
Due to the introduction of ITIL v3 and ITSM, the customer is obliged to verify its key performance figures (which are described in service level agreements (SLA)). Given the growing number of existing service contracts and contractual conditions, the time and effort involved in this evaluation can remain manageable if it is at least partially automated. At the same time, it has to be possible to manually rework the individual reports in order to enable customer requirements and individual adaptations.
