SAP Retail: setting up a logistical distribution center

Brief description
An additional logistical distribution center belonging to an external service provider is connected to an SAP Retail installation. Communication uses the functions that were implemented for the existing warehouses.
Supplement
An additional inventory management system for the new warehouse is to be connected; the system is developed and supported by the Active Logistics company. The messages, based on SAP standard IDocs, are to be used to exchange both master data and transaction data between the systems.
Subject description
The inventory management system is supplied with the necessary item master data so that the merchandise ordered by means of SAP purchase orders can be collected and stored in the warehouse. For sales, support is to be provided for stock transport orders in domestic branches and customer orders for foreign markets, so that incoming goods at the warehouse and goods issue to the markets can be handled and then posted in SAP Retail.
