Brief description
The standard software from Technodata, aimed at the construction industry, is adopted in SAP R/3; this particularly affects financial accounting, cost accounting, cost-unit accounting and equipment billing.
Supplement
The group's SAP R/3 system is used as the target system. This system was built on an R/2 system used previously for the company in question. The Technodata migration forms the second stage in achieving a standardized information system for the group.
Subject description
The heterogeneous systems in a group of companies formed by the merger of two corporations, each with various individual companies, are to be transferred to a standardized system based on R/3. One particular challenge is to standardize the accounting processes for the companies affected.
