SAP EWM: Introduction of Warehouse Management

Brief description
Involvement in the introduction of the SAP EWM warehouse management system. In addition to designing and configuring the HANA-based EWM, special support is provided for the connection to SAP Retail. The inventory management system is to be used both for the logistical distribution center and for the online shop's warehouse.
Supplement
SAP HANA is installed for SAP EWM and other new SAP modules in order to create the up-to-date, high-performance basis necessary for retail. As the procurement and logistical processes are controlled using SAP Retail and the subsidiary systems are also connected to SAP Retail via ALE/IDoc, the aim is also to create a close connection between EWM and Retail.
Subject description
The project work continues the requirements for the logistical distribution center that were compiled in the business blueprint (see project ID 3547), with the addition of a warehouse for the online shop, which was previously operated by a third-party provider.
