SAP BW on HANA: Controlling and performance measurement in strategic purchasing

The implementation involves BW processes for modeling, data extraction, transformation and reporting. In addition, authorizations need to be managed and process chains set up. Programs are developed for formatting the procurement transactions from the previous period and masks are provided for transferring, maintaining and approving planning data. Next, the material/price change key figures are calculated at the supplier level on the basis of reference points from various previous-period averages or from planned figures (short- and long-term), which makes it possible to present the effects of prices and exchange rates.
