SAP BW: Currency conversion and prices in sales-controlled sales planning

Sales-controlled sales planning is based on a combination of scheduled materials/quantities/probabilities from a feeder system with figures from the operational ERP system (sales/orders) in order to maintain planning over a period starting in the current year and stretching several years into the future. The currency is converted to the contractual, corporate or company currency as part of the preparations for a planned global rollout of the planning application. To evaluate the quantities from planning, prices are either evaluated from the ERP feeder system or, alternatively, using prices changed or created manually.
