The customer is introducing the new Salesforce-based CRM system worldwide. It is one of the most complex implementations of Salesforce in the world. This results in challenging requirements for development, rollout and management of configurations, as well as cooperation between multiple international teams. PTA bears joint responsibility in the project for successful rollout configurations, for enhancements and for developing software tools to support this.

The system is based on the Salesforce platform and its tools, such as Salesforce Apex and Visualforce, as well as modern JavaScript. These are complemented by .net-based custom software that provides an alternative user interface for Salesforce.

Rollout configuration for dozens of national organizational units; standards features of Salesforce (role hierarchy, sharing model) and project-specific settings (>100 per unit); developing software tools for quality assurance and further maintenance of the configuration across several system instances (production, test, development); maintaining and expanding the project management tool; Salesforce platform, including Lightning Design System; alternative ASP.net MVC-based interface; designing a user-rights management system; conceptual framework for complex and flexible global user management; implementation of interfaces; bulk API-to-SQL server client (.net-based); Salesforce external object-compatible OData web service for SAP (ASP Web API-based).
