Implementation of the Endur ESM (Energy Scenario Management) expansion. This module allows calculation of key figures via a simulation with quantity information other than the current existing BAV (Best Available Volume).
Supplement
Energy trades in Endur have hierarchically-structured quantity information (e.g. tracks). The information that is logically closest to the physical delivery. I.e. quantities reported with the shipper are higher-value than the originally handled quantities. The BAV (Best Available Volume) returns the quantity information of the highest quality quantity already entered. Subordinate information is then not available for normal calculations. Using the ESM module, it is possible to perform calculations for the lower-level value. It is also possible to use quantity information from files that are saved outside the Endur system.
Subject description
Optimized quantity information is imported by the customer from third-party systems to a lower-value track. This is visible for calculating key figures as soon as higher-value tracks are filled with values. Key figures based on the optimized quantities represent an important benchmark and are therefore required for monitoring of trading activities. With the implementation of the ESM module, it is now also possible to calculate risk key figures for optimized quantities.
