Sales application for private insurances

Brief description
Further development and maintenance of two client and server-based property insurance sales modules for private customers, which are used on different target platforms of an agency management and information system.
Supplement
The 1st property insurance sales module comprises the main classes of personal liability, household contents, real estate and legal expenses insurance. The functionality has been revised and expanded for each line of business. The product range was expanded to include animal owner and animal health insurance. The content of the generic offer document generation was completely revised and expanded in the context of the introduction of new tariffs and technical specifications for the respective lines of business. In addition, the code of the application has been fundamentally cleaned up, optimised and the error handling revised. As a result, maintainability and performance have been significantly improved despite the increase in complexity. The 2nd module has been newly implemented for the Household Products division with AngularJS.
Subject description
The 2 sales modules are embedded in the module framework of the agency management and information system. A bundle of different property insurance lines is provided via the sales modules, which can be combined with each other as required. This enables the sales department to put together an insurance package tailor-made for the customer. Depending on the package configuration, individual discounts and rebates can be granted to the customer. This sales concept has contributed significantly to the increase in total sales. For each package configuration, a generic individual offer can be sent to the customer, e.g. as a PDF file. If a contract is concluded, the customer and contract data are stored in the associated specific database system via a uniform interface, depending on the platform.
