The custodian bank must comply with its statutory obligation to check the fund prices (§20 to §29 InvG).
Subject description
The price calculation for the real-estate fund performed by the investment bank is checked by the custodian bank via an internal database. All data relevant to fund prices is stored there so that a price calculation can be performed independently of the investment bank (BaFin. Model 2). Price-relevant information must be imported daily to calculate the share price of the real-estate fund. Aim: Online calculation of the share price using current data, several times daily. Output of various reports for individual positions, sum comparisons and changes to checks and troubleshooting.
