Brief description
After several years in the markets, the projects aims to collect further functional requirements for a software update of the instrument. The scope of the extension is to remove known inconsistencies and introduce new software functionality. Changes to instrument hardware are not planned. Close collaboration between hardware and software developers and feasibility studies ensure general feasibility of elicited functional requirements and planned changes of software functionality.

Core Tasks: – Creation and update of the Requirements Management Plan – Consolidation of existing requirements structures spanning several releases – Creation and maintenance of consolidated requirements structure in the Requirements Management Tool – Elicitation, negotiation and management of software requirements – Elicitation, negotiation and management of requirements traceability analysis Core Techniques: – Documentation of changed business concepts as BPMN Business Process Diagrams – Documentation of changed workflows as Use Cases and Activity Diagrams – Documentation of changed rules, data and constraints as Business Rules – Documentation of relevant and useful background information – PRQ and SRQ review workshops in close cooperation with the business area, product specialists, development and verification/validation representatives
