Brief description
An existing .NET application for decentralized order processing in an international retail group is to be further developed and stabilized. To this end, an existing WAWI interface is being redesigned and developed as a 'man in the middle'.
Supplement
New development of an existing WCF web service-based interface to a merchandise management system. The new interface is being developed as a Windows service under .NET 8 and has access to the databases of the ordering system and the merchandise management system for the time and task-controlled exchange of information.
Subject description
Orders for a retail company are recorded decentrally in the application and forwarded to a central application for consolidation. To determine the necessary order quantities, various information from merchandise management, such as stocks, sales quantities, etc., is determined and taken into account and order quantities are transferred to merchandise management.
