Prototyping – Process Automation dunning by BPM Process Engine
Project duration: 4 months
Brief description
Creation of a prototype for the automation or digitization of work processes and decisions on receivables management. The aim is to increase the efficiency and quality of selecting the best possible next collection measures. The execution engines of Camunda deliver the implementation platform. Technically the process with a BPMN model and the decision rules with a DMN table has been presented. By means of self-developed Java Microservices, the Camunda Workflow and Decision Engine, the process has been realized technically automated executable.
Supplement
The Camunda Execution Engines for BPMN workflows and DMN Decisions provide the implementation platform for automation projects. On the basis of these components, the first step is to graphically display the process for selecting collection measures using a process model in the notation Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN 2.0). The decision rules associated with this process have been mapped in decision tables in the Notation Decision Model Notation (DMN). For technical feasibility, for each activity of the process within the scope of the Camunda platform, a Java microservices and, as far as required, a user interface has been developed using Java-Scipt and HTML. This allows service-orchestrated through the Camunda platform, the process automated and evaluated for ongoing controlling.
Subject description
In order to demand outstanding receivables from collection customers, the best possible communication channels are to be selected. The execution engine supports the employees in the processing of these processes. The engine orchestrates the once defined business and technical process flow. This ensures a standardized, complete and efficient implementation. When selecting the next best possible collection measure, the system supports the employee with a prioritized list of measures, which has been calculated on the basis of previous success rates for the receipt of unpaid receivables.
