The focus of this project is the development of a new laboratory automation solution to process samples more efficiently and with minimal manual interaction in the laboratory. During the development phase, PTA supports the maintenance and refinement of system requirements and project Management, respectively.
Supplement
The project is set up as a program (system project) that includes seven sub-projects (system components projects). The PTA accompanied the project already in the concept and in the feazibility phase. The aquired knowledge and process understanding can be optimally used in the subsequent development phase. PTA's area of responsibility lies in Requirements Engineering and Project Management. It is important to maintain and refine the existing system requirements, and to align them continuously with the various sub-projects. The program structure and the work in distributed teams puts high constraints on project management, especially in the areas of project planning, project monitoring and inter-team communication.
Subject description
The system under development is an automated laboratory system for processing patient samples, it is intended for use in IVD laboratory solutions; in combination with analyzers that perform tests in the areas of clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, coagulation, haematology, urinalysis, and nucleic acid testing.
