Preliminary study, including service description and cost estimate, on the creation of an individual software solution for a damage report system which maps the business processes relevant to processing cases of damage, for the responsible department of a logistics center.
Supplement
Based on discussions with the customer and documents provided by the customer, requirements for the new system are analyzed, solutions developed, and these solutions specified in the form of a service description. With the help of the requirements, the features to be implemented are established and an estimate is made of the work involved in implementing the features. An iterative approach to the project is planned.
Subject description
To process damage cases (including the entry, processing, and assessment of damage), the customer uses an individual software solution in the form of an intranet application. There is currently an array of new requirements which should make the damage processing procedure more efficient. This includes, among other things, a simplified allocation of damage-relevant documents relating to the relevant damage case, the structuring of the documents in folders, and an extension of the data-specific evaluation possibilities. As its integration in the existing application turned out to be very complicated, the customer is planning to replace the old system. The goal is to merge the current range of functionality and the compiled new requirements in a state-of-the-art software solution.
