Brief description
To improve profits in gas sales and turnover planning, further functions are to be added to the existing software components. At the same time, efficiency measures are intended to reduce processing times. Support when adopting and processing the functional requirements, as well as during project planning.

The existing application is implemented in a 3-tier architecture. The basis for this is an Oracle RDBMS that is accessed via Hibernate. The Web frontend is implemented using the Struts Java framework. The project covers the extension and optimization of existing screens and processes, as well as the adoption of screens that were previously implemented in an MS Access application.
Subject description
During monthly sales planning, the user (scheduler) must revise the required data for the gas delivery contracts or create new ones. A lot of data is copied from printed contract information, even though this data already exists in the system. The system is enhanced to support transferring this contract master data, creating significant time savings for the planner. The system expansion also covers calculation of additional planning results for reporting purposes and a new "Price allocation" screen that supports the planner in preparing sales determination.
