Migration of the Oracle 12c database and the ETL processes to a new Linux server with Oracle 19c standard.
Supplement
At the start of the project, the current Oracle 12c server is already 10 years old and must be replaced as soon as possible. The database and ETL processes are poorly documented. About 3000 to 4000 database objects (mainly tables) have to be checked, documented if possible and then transferred to the new Oracle 19c database. The Cognos Datamanager from IBM used for the ETL control must also be replaced. The ETL control will be replaced by the Python logic in Apache Airflow. For all required transformation processes of the data, corresponding Oracle views are created. In the first phase of the project, the main focus is on documenting and transferring the existing processes. In the next phase the processes will be tested and optimized.
