Optimizing the creation process for user information for diagnostic laboratory equipment
Project duration: 1 year, 6 months
Brief description
In order to meet growing market requirements and stricter regulatory demands, the end customer will in the future no longer receive user information for diagnostic laboratory equipment in physical form in the retail packaging but instead will receive it in electronic form. The project covers analyzing and optimizing the attribution, packaging, distribution and processing of user information across various organizational units in the company. Both physical user information in plain text format and electronic data processed by the laboratory device are taken into account.
Supplement
The end-to-end process stretches from the creation of user information, through national approval and archiving of data, to use by end customers around the world. In particular, all the different regulatory and statutory areas of approval in the individual countries have to be taken into account.
Subject description
The end-to-end process includes all the company divisions involved, from operations, R&D, customer support, through to the end customer, including various component systems that all use different data systems. The redesign and the ownership components system landscape are coordinated in the system project, which provides customer and product requirements. The individual component projects in the different organizational units convert these into technical requirements. Among other issues, the project enables the automatic creation of user information, a standardized metadata concept, an improved distribution concept and a simplification of the entire system landscape.
