Optimizing status and price checking in the market conformity check
Project duration: 4 months
Brief description
A client/server application is used for the market conformity check at a depositary bank. This application collects data from a wide variety of source systems so that the user can compare the data, check them and comment on them. Several editing statuses can be generated to check the data. During the project, this status check is structured in greater detail, making the daily working status more transparent to the user. To make the price check complete, further price data are needed. For this reason, the import function and the reports are expanded accordingly to include further information.
Subject description
To check stock prices, the application imports and merges data from many different source systems. After the import, users can generate, configure, comment on and archive reports for checking the data. So that users can see which prices have already been imported and checked, the application creates a status after each process step. This status needs to be displayed to the user in a more transparent way. The user should be able to understand the processing progress at a glance. Furthermore, additional information is added to the reports and import functions during the course of the project.
