Connection of an online shop (based on Hybris) to SAP ERP 6.0 Retail for the processing and billing of customer purchase orders placed online in the WEB shop. An inventory management system from an external logistics service provider is also connected. Customer order processing is implemented in the form of cross-company code sales, as the WEB shop company does not have its own stock, but sells stock from the parent company. Within the project, returns processing is reflected in SAP and the corresponding interfaces are implemented.
Supplement
The customer intends to provide a Web shop based on a Hybris Web shop and PIM (Product Information Management). The required back office functions are supported by the central materials management system (MMS) SAP ERP 6.0 Retail. SAP Retail is the controlling system for master data management. The SAP functions for logistics processing of Web orders are also used. To operate the Web shop, a separate sales company is founded that is managed in SAP as a separate company code. An external provider takes on logistics processing for Warehouse Management and Shipping. The technical connection is established via IDOCs. Goods stocks in the warehouse are made available via the parent company and only settled when sold (cross-company code sale). All processing from the customer perspective (communication/interaction) is performed solely via the Hybris Web shop (apart from goods delivery with delivery papers).
Subject description
With the customer, an additional sales channel is to be created for the sale of products via the Internet. To enable this, an online shop is implemented that allows potential customers to order the available products via the Internet. The logistical processing of the customer purchase orders, as well as financial settlement with the customer is performed via SAP Retail. Outbound deliveries to the end customer created in SAP Retail are made via an external warehouse management system of the logistics service provider. In order to fully represent these processes, it is necessary to a) define the processes, b) configure, test and document customizing based on the defined processes. IDoc interfaces from and to the online shop and from and to the external inventory management system are also defined and set up.
