Users enter data into the online portal of a customer, an energy trader, in order to create a measuring service contract. As soon as the contract has become legally binding, the data is transferred to the master data application, in order to assist the specialist department, where it is automatically saved together with all the associated data.
Supplement
Various online forms are available. However, the scope of data to be transferred to the master data application via web service varies only slightly, so that the implemented interface functions independently of the form. From requirements elicitation, conceptual design and implementation, through to testing and acceptance, all the necessary project activities are performed.
Subject description
The data collected in the energy trader's online portal is used to generate contractual documents as a PDF in the portal; these documents are then sent by email to the energy trader's customers for checking and signing, and they are also saved in the web system's database. The online portal is also used to check and sign the contracts. As soon as the energy trader has information from and signed by the customer (by fax or by post), in line with the contract, users of the master data application (after clarifying queries, if necessary) can call up the data stored in the online portal via the newly developed interface by entering a unique reference number for the contract. Creation of the SEPA mandate in SAP is initiated from the master data application. If the mandate is present, it is sent to the customer together with the legally binding, countersigned contractual document from the energy trader.
