Migration of long-term gas delivery contracts on a trading platform – phase 3
Project duration: 5 months
Brief description
In the third phase, as well as the settlement and payment functionality, including all relevant back office processes, a generic export for the migrated long-term gas delivery contracts is also implemented in Endur. The previously separate nightly batch run in for the remaining contracts is also integrated with the main nightly batch run.
Supplement
In close collaboration with the departments, requirements are created and all activities are supported from design to go-live. This completes tasks in project planning, as well project controlling, and the planning and implementation of the corresponding test phases. By preference, the Customizing functions of the Endur standard software are used to reflect contract components and processes. Individual script solutions are implemented in "OpenJVS". Existing functions based on AVS scripts, where possible, also reimplemented or adapted in "OpenJVS". Test management is supported by the HPQC software. This includes definition and implementation of all test cases, as well as management of the errors and change requests arising from the tests.
Subject description
The settlement and payment functions are implemented in Endur based on the settlement desktop. This is used to collect and format all required information for settlement and payment, so that it can be transferred to the settlement system via the bi-directional XML interface. The bi-directional interface transfers the settlement data from Endur to the settlement system and a status message on the current status of the corresponding settlement object is returned automatically. In order to export relevant contract details to down-stream systems, a generic export of all contract details is implemented. The data is written via REST interface to an XML repository and can be imported from there to downstream systems. Down-stream systems can use the same interface to transfer data back to Endur via the repository.
