After the initial introduction of an industry standard software, the follow-up project expands the existing scope of functions (invoice receipt, validation and service settlement) and transfers the entire individual business (e.g. customer management and calculating premiums) to the new standard software. Supporting the customer in the necessary data migrations.
Supplement
In the course of the project, multiple data migrations are necessary. At the start of the project, the master and parameterization data (customer-specific adaptation of the standard software) are migrated and synchronized at regular intervals. Towards the end of the project, the transaction data from the legacy systems that are to be replaced are also migrated.
Subject description
When migrating the master and parameterization data, the challenge is that the source data can continue to change after the initial migration and it is therefore necessary to run automatic synchronization at regular intervals. In this process, not only technical but functional conflicts have to be identified and corrected, as necessary.
