Migration of complex gas contracts between retail and sales company from SAP CRM to Endur
Project duration: 1 year, 11 months
Brief description
Migration was divided into two phases. In the second phase, all contracts were migrated with volume flexibility, from the standard price formula of deviating pricing and temperature flexibility to the Endur trading platform. As well as the modeling of contracts, various interfaces were created for upstream and downstream systems.
Supplement
In close collaboration with the departments, requirements are created and all activities are supported from design to go-live. This completes tasks in project planning, as well project controlling, and the planning and implementation of the corresponding test phases. By preference, the Customizing functions of the Endur standard software are used to reflect contract components and processes. Individual script solutions are implemented in "OpenJVS" and "OpenComponent". Existing functions based on AVS scripts, where possible, also reimplemented or adapted in "OpenJVS". Test management is supported by the HPQC software. This includes definition and implementation of all test cases, as well as management of the errors and change requests arising from the tests.
Subject description
The modeling of complex contracts and risk reporting structures on the Deal model is an important focus of this phase. The high complexity of the migrated swing options due to its flexibility in volumes and pricing, creates special requirements for risk reporting and evaluation solution to be created, as many attributes must be transferred to the downstream systems for the correct intrinsic and extrinsic evaluation. The evaluation systems are provided with data via a generic export module using a standard XML repository. The existing, very unstable interface to the evaluation model engine is replaced by a solution based on REST interfaces and ActiveMQ that is scaled via a grid cluster, thereby ensuring a stable nightly EOD run.
