Migration of a local datamart to Snowflake
Brief description
Migration of a local CRM data mart for sales and service. Existing processes and structures are analyzed and transferred to a new global environment. The data from various source systems (SalesForce.com, SAP BW, local data sources…) is implemented in a new global solution or existing data is used and adapted locally.
Supplement
Data from various source systems such as SalesForce.com, SAP BW, global data products and also locally maintained data sources are converted from a load to MSSql Server to Snowflake. All procedures, tables and views used in the old environment are analyzed. All functionality, locally needed will be implemented into Snowflake.
Subject description
The previous data mart was a local solution for sales and service in Germany. This data is now being made available in a new global environment. All necessary data, source systems and logics will be analyzed and implemented in a global Snowflake environment, or existing global data will be used and adapted. The new solution should enable comprehensive reporting, which can be carried out by the user using Tableau.
