Brief description
Detailed specification for automatically recording and documenting the mass flow of plastic packaging with a distributed application. Divided into the core areas: paperless logistics, inventory management, and transponder management.
Supplement
Object-oriented analysis with Rational Rose and comprehensive Word documentation. Coordinating user interfaces using a logical mask layout (Java mask prototype). Communication between individual warehouses and a central system that provides communication with a Baan system. Transmission of transport data between warehouses via chip cards (transport identity card). Interface for inventory management in the warehouses to devices for recording operating data (transponder readers).
Subject description
Recording and documenting the mass flow by means of paperless logistics with automated inventory notifications and electronic consignment notes. Inventory management for containers (transponder-assisted) and bulks lots in various warehouse types, with corresponding inventory possibilities. Communication via interface files with a managing Baan system.
