Adjustments to market communication by the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW) will result in process adjustments. As a metering point operator, the customer assumes the central role in communication on the electricity market. Several of the customer's systems are affected by the adjustments, including the central master data application as well as the recording system for measured values and the energy data information system. The adjustments primarily relate to the creation and processing of the necessary market messages and the provision of the information received in the systems.
Supplement
Due to constantly changing requirements on the part of the BDEW, the customer's own system for market communication requires continuous adaptation and further development.
Subject description
The central components of the necessary process adjustments relate to the recording, saving and provision of metering time definitions and the metering products belonging to the market location. In future, the distribution system operator will inform the responsible metering point operator which metering time definition is used on the individual devices. These and other innovations have a direct influence on existing specialist processes and show potential for optimizing existing processes. After completion, the system is handed over to the customer's internal IT department.
