Mapping the SEPA process in the master data application
Project duration: 6 months
Brief description
Mandatory implementation of the SEPA process means that this process must be reflected in the master data application for existing clients (Germany and Austria), to ensure that existing payment transactions with customers can continue to function seamlessly and without problems.
Supplement
The customer's master data application is based on a three-layer, service-oriented architecture (.Net-based thin client, application server, MS SQL 2012). During the implementation, the system communicates with the SAP standard software, which reflects the payment transactions. Data exchange is carried out using IDOCs that are exchanged between the BizTalk server and the SAP system. Conversion into a corresponding INHOUSE XML format enables communication between the BizTalk server and the master data application. Development is performed in C# based on the .Net 4.5 framework.
Subject description
The master data application manages information for the customers, this includes payment transactions. The data is transferred to the SAP system in which the clients are generated. The relevant information for clients is transferred via data exchange from SAP to the master data application. Reflection in the master data application makes it possible to create client documents that can be sent to the customer together with an explanatory letter. The signed documents are uploaded to the client in the application. Before the first SEPA debit transfer, a prenotification is sent to the customer. In addition, all payment relevant documents (discount requirements, settlements, correction invoices) contain a note on the payment method and on the client and payment conditions.
