The planning and use of ESF funds in funded projects is recorded and documented. Several billions in development funds are divided among several thousand projects. The service provider monitors the individual projects on a regular basis during the term of the project

The data base is on an SQL Server. The business logic was implemented using stored procedures in a largely client-independent manner. Evaluations and interfaces were implemented with Notes, Java, MS Access and FOXPRO.
Subject description
The ESF (European Social Fund) makes a contribution to the development of employment by promoting employability, entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, equal opportunities, and investment in human resources. The ESF is the European Union's central labor market policy funding instrument for fighting unemployment in all of Europe and for implementing the goals of the European employment strategy: full employment, increasing the quality of work places and productivity in the workplace, and strengthening social cohesion and social inclusion. The legal basis for funding from the European Social Fund in the funding period from 2000 to 2006 is provided by the Regulation (EC) No. 1784/1999 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July 1999 on the European Social Fund.
