The "Monitoring production processes" – application is intended to provide employees in a factory-like production department with a continuous overview of production progress. To enable this, the current production situation for the particular production line (to-be and as-is) is visualized by absolute figures and a timeline. In the area of supplying individual parts to the production line in order to manufacture the product, the application will manage current stocks of inventory so that employees know how many individual parts still have to be provided to the production line. In addition, a maintenance module (referred to here as the admin module) will make it possible to configure the system and the data and help create weekly schedules.
Supplement
The customer has to decide in this project between a standard solution from the market and an individual software solution. The make-or-buy analysis is intended to help the customer make this decision. The make-or-buy analysis is divided into the following three tasks: 1. Defining and weighting the functional criteria 2. Defining and weighting the non-functional criteria 3. Validating the TCO for 5 years. In parallel to this, performance specifications and requirement specifications are created, together with a cost estimate.
Subject description
The criteria are subject to the following possibilities: The criteria can be chosen freely, and the weighting of the criteria is also free and can be changed during the analysis; if desired, the criteria can be specified using Excel or a collaboration based on SharePoint. In the context of a sensitivity analysis, it is also possible after the project has started to validate the results. The criteria are defined on the basis of ISO/IEC_9126.
