Localization of an energy trading software

Brief description
Expanding existing individual software to map energy trade processes. The software is developed in VB.Net and is expanded for multiple languages. In this connection, the interfaces (forms and controls), export files and reports are translated into English with technical accuracy. In VS2010, ReSharper is used to localize the strings and management is performed using ResXManager.
Supplement
PTA plans and carries out the project. The source code files are analyzed and created with a quantity structure which is used for project management. Refactoring that is necessary for localization is also performed by PTA employees. In this manner, strings are evaluated and transcribed in constants. Character strings must be searched for unchangeable elements, which must then be removed from the text being localized and reconstituted appropriately. In user forums, attention is paid in particular to the display. Texts that are too long can be shortened or the interface design can be adapted.
Subject description
Merging of departments made it necessary to provide an English version of the previous software used for planning, optimizing and controlling gas purchases.
