Preparing and carrying out a Java workshop for developers. A pilot application is used to introduce employees to Java and object orientation. Eclipse is used as the development environment. In addition to creating the pilot application, another focus is on an overview of all aspects of object-oriented software development.

Training course content: Java IDE Eclipse, introduction to J2EE, introduction to web technologies, introduction to JSP and Struts, introduction to object orientation (basics, design patterns), Java/ JSP programming (JDBC, custom tags and tag libraries, expectation handling), refactoring and testing or test strategies, testing with JUnit, procedural models, UML, identifying development guidelines (coding standards and GUI standards).
