To control IT access for temporary workers, the statutory blocking periods are transferred from the SAP personnel system to the central IT access administration. Necessary adjustments of these requirements concern the frontend for the central control and evaluation of IT authorizations (MS Access), the associated data storage (MS SQL Server) as well as the interface processing on the basis of .NET and T-SQL.
Supplement
The frontend is supplemented by check functionalities for observing blocking periods when activating IT accesses. Extensions of the data storage structures concern the dedicated database of IT access authorizations as well as the central storage of personal information. SAP information is provided via a secure exchange mechanism that is queried via FTP by a new .NET interface application. The efficient, high-performance and resource-conserving processing of the received information is performed by suitable functionalities on a T-SQL basis, which are controlled by the interface application. The interface application is started time-controlled by Windows Task as server application.
