Brief description
Further development and maintenance of an OLAP reporting system (instantOLAP), as well as an intranet application (PHP/Zend framework, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Query) for evaluating strategic and operative company data and management of sales and purchasing documents. Main data sources are ERP, CRM and PDM systems.
Supplement
The OLAP reporting system is developed with the standard software InstantOLAP. The tool collects business data from the ERP system BaanIV and an MS Exchange-based CRM system. The data is formatted in OLAP cubes in order to provide key figures in reports for the different departments. The intranet application is implemented with PHP 5 and the Zend framework (backend) and HTML, CSS and Javascript / Jquery (frontend). This uses the ERP and CRM data to provide operative evaluations that support the departments in their day-to-day tasks. The application also connects this data with sales and purchasing documents scanned as PDFs, as well as drawings from the product management system Autodesk Productstream Professional. Users can also process order-relevant documents (e.g. sending order confirmations via fax or e-mail).
Subject description
The reporting system is used for real-time provision of key figures to management and the departments of Controlling, Sales, Design and Production. The intranet application is used as a central information system and document management for day-to-day work.
