Integration of AI-supported document data extraction
Project duration: 2 years, 9 months
Brief description
The customer offers financing offers for end customers. For this purpose, sensitive data is recorded, identity is confirmed and ultimately a decision is made about granting a loan. As part of the project, various sub-processes are digitized and automated. This includes, among other things, the complete reading of sensitive data from, for example, ID documents and pay slips using AI-based software. Furthermore, entire process flows are completely digitalized. This means the end customer is able to complete a financing application completely digitally. This includes product selection, collection of all relevant data and integration of a video identification process. The PTA supports the customer in digitizing and automating these work steps in project management as well as all phases of testing. This will essentially reduce the customer's manual work.
Supplement
The PTA is responsible for test management in collaboration with the external developer. The requirements are communicated, tested and approved with the development team in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria. This includes the software development life cycle from the creation to the release of the web application. Communication and reporting with the external developer primarily takes place using Jira. For this purpose, the processes are visualized and modeled via draw.io and Camunda. The PTA also carries out the test documentation in HP ALM.
Subject description
The PTA supports the customer in implementing test management and introducing the software. By merging the customer with another company in the same industry, it is very certain that significantly higher volumes of financing applications and thus also applications to be processed including document verification are expected. These could not be managed with the same number of employees or could only be achieved through extreme delays. Without automation and digitalization, this goal could not be achieved. At the same time, the simultaneous processes increase the quality of the processing.
