Integrating a Lotus Notes interface control center in a sales and distribution system

Brief description
Presenting a prototype operation for assisting the customer's support organization. The existing interface architecture from a software firm is to be replaced by an interface control center for monitoring the transmission of master data. Weaknesses in the current solution are to be eliminated: update including change runs with 1:n relationships in Lotus Notes documents at the field level, and informative logs.

Subject description
The Lotus Notes sales and distribution information system will be used here to connect office work and the field staff. Field services agents can write their quotations in MS Word with the help of this tool. It is therefore important that the master data is correct, particularly for addresses and product information. The interface control center provides a smooth import and update mechanism.
