Implementing instant access to the insurer's Internet portal for insurance holders. The login data is transferred in a two-channel procedure. It is implemented so that it can also be used from other points in the CRM system via an additional feature.
Supplement
Exchanging sensitive data, such as address and contractual data, poses exacting requirements when it comes to providing online portal access to users. The instant access is based on a two-factor authentication. Two different routes are available here. One is implemented centrally as a REST service that considers the agent as a "trusted third party" that identifies the customer. The second factor is the printed password, which the agent physically hands to the customer. If it is not possible for the agent to identify the customer, the customer receives the access data by post at the customer address known to the insurance company.
Subject description
Increasing digitization requires insurance companies to adapt to changing customer needs. To achieve this, insurance holders have to be offered online access to contracts. The insurance holder can log on via a portal and access various self-services from there. This includes managing address data, bank details, claims notifications and tracking the processing status of claims.
