Improvement of the user management of a POCT Solution

Brief description
In addition to the integration of an e-learning system, functions like an LDAP connection, email messaging (including template editor), and Windows Notification Service to notify devices will be added to the existing customer solution in the point-of-care testing system.
Supplement
The procedural model chosen for the project includes tailoring from V-model and RUP. Scrum is used for the development iterations. In addition to Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 and InterSystems Caché, the technological know-how includes the integration of Microsoft Office Open XML SDK (generation of MS Office files), Telerik components (template editor), and MSN Queue (Windows service for notifications).
Subject description
In hospitals there are many small measuring instruments which are used by the nursing staff. These devices are referred to as point-of-care testing instruments. According to the statutory provisions, the hospital must guarantee the training of the personnel and the quality control of the individual instruments.
